A red neon sign sometimes illuminates the eyes of the city buildings that are reflected in the veil of darkness, like geometric figures. If you close your eyes tightly, you can see a soft red light in the dark. In that moment, the hustle and bustle of the city with a clear view of the surroundings gives me the feeling that I, alone, am paused. During the COVID-19 period, most activities were reduced due to social distancing and quarantine regulations, but time flew even faster than before. Through this work, I tried to express the helplessness of being alone in the bustle of the city, unable to move forward.



어둠의 장막 속에 내비치는 도시 건물들이 마치 기하학적인 도형처럼 때때로 빨간색 네온사인이 눈을 비친다. 두 눈을 질끈 감으면 어둠 속에서 은은하게 빨간색 빛이 보이기도 한다. 지금 이 순간, 주변이 훤히 보이는 도시의 소란스러움은 오히려 나 혼자서만 일시 정지된 느낌을 준다. 코로나 기간에 어쩔 수 없이 사람들과 일정한 거리를 유지하고, 자가격리를 반복하게 되어 대부분 이벤트 활동들은 줄어들었지만, 시간만큼은 더욱 빠르게 지나갔다. 본 작품을 통해 도시의 소란스러움 속 나 혼자만 정체돼 앞으로 나아갈 수 없는 무력함을 표현해 보았다.


俯瞰夜幕中的城市，众多建筑仿佛一块块几何图形， 时不时穿插着耀眼的红色霓虹灯。紧闭双眼，一片漆黑中仍略微闪烁着红光。此时此刻，四周清晰的城市的喧嚣竟让人感到唯我停滞的状态。疫情期间，无奈与他人保持距离，反复的自我隔离等。虽然大部分活动减少，时间却较以往过的更快了。作品想要表达的便是在城市喧嚣中自唯有自己停滞不前的状态。
