The chrysanthemum can be said to represent the elegance of China, and I, too, have a special affection for chrysanthemums. Because the chrysanthemum has the dignity to blooms steadfastly even in the coldest weather, the famous phrase, “Sometimes, I pick up a chrysanthemum from the eastern fence, and do my best while looking towards the southern mountains” was written by the poet, Do Won Myung. I, too, wish to live freely, not bound to anything just like the chrysanthemum.



국화꽃은 중국에서 고아함의 대표라고 할 수 있고, 나 또한 국화꽃에 대한 애정이 남다르다. 국화꽃이 아무리 추운 날씨에도 꿋꿋이 피어 있는 품격이 있기에, 시인 도원명의 “채국동울하, 여연견남산”이라는 명구가 나올 수 있지 않았나 싶다. 나 또한 국화꽃처럼, 어디에도 구속 받지 않고 자유로이 살아가기를 바란다.


菊花是在中国非常儒雅的代表。我对菊花非常迷恋。因菊花具有清寒傲雪的品格，才有陶渊明的“采菊东篱下，悠然见南山”的名句。我希望自己能像菊花一样，过的绚烂且无拘无束。
