Temporality. We think the moment lasts forever but it doesn’t. We often consider it as a rule that is repeated a few times. Relative and exceptional events soon become absolute and universal truths. Modern buildings built of solid concrete are no exception.It is the aesthetics of uniformity and repetition. It is a consciousness that everything can be controlled and solved by reason. But it is not so solid. The solid wall soon breaks down and collapse. We can only notice the truth after the wall collapses.



시간성에 대한 표현. 삶 속에서 우리는 순간이 영원할 것으로 착각한다. 몇 번의 반복에 불과한 일을 규칙처럼 느낀다. 상대적이고 예외적인 일들은 곧이어 절대적이고 보편적인 진리로 자리 잡는다. 단단한 콘크리트로 지어진 모더니티 건물에도 예외란 없다. 균일과 반복의 미학이다. 이성을 통해 모든 것을 통제하고 해결할 수 있다는 의식의 표출이다. 그러나 이는 그렇게 견고하지 않다. 견고한 벽은 이내 허물어지고 변질된다. 우리는 벽이 무너지고 나서야 그 사실을 깨닫는다.


对时间性的表现。在生活中我们误以为瞬间是永恒的，把反复发生的事情误以为是规则。相对且例外的事情紧接着被认为绝对且普遍的真理。用坚硬的混凝土建造的现代建筑也不例外，是均一与反复的美学。它是一种意识的表达，即一切都可以通过理性来控制和解决，可是并不牢固。牢固的墙壁很快就会倒塌变质，此时我们才会明白事实。
