Great Pacman: Plastic island, 2021

The setting of this work is the huge island made of plastic garbage with the sweeper who disposes of this garbage, the “Great Pac-man”. The modified plastic bottles and the dots of the net combined with the images of the sea are designed to look like sunlight shining on the sea.
Kids use toy blocks that is made out of EVA which is eco friendly material, to make variety of furniture.
Thorough out this process, I hope that the story of the 'Great Pac-Man' project deliver a message about environmental pollution to children.

태평양에 생긴 거대한 플라스틱 쓰레기 섬과 이 쓰레기들을 처리해주는 스위퍼, ‘위대한 팩맨’을 모티프로 한 텍스타일입니다. 변형된 플라스틱 병, 바다의 이미지들과 함께 어우러진 그물의 점들은 바다 위에서 빛나는 햇빛 같아보이도록 연출했습니다.
아이들은 친환경 소재 EVA 블럭으로 다양한 가구들을 조립하며 ‘위대한 팩맨’ 프로젝트의 이야기를 직간접적으로 체험하게 됩니다.  이를 통해 환경 오염에 대한 메세지로 아이들에게 전달되길 바랍니다. ‘위대한 팩맨’의 이야기 속으로 당신을 초대합니다.



处理在太平洋的巨大塑料垃圾岛和这些垃圾的Swipper，以‘伟大吃豆人’为背景.
以2040年之前清除为目标的‘伟大吃豆人’计划故事希望不仅能够作为儿童玩具,也能传递关于环境污染的信息.
与变形的塑料瓶,海洋的形象一同相融的捕网上的小点点,我将这些设计成看似闪耀在海上的太阳一般.
