Blue Desert, 2020

Ocean, which occupies most of the earth, sometimes looks like a huge blue desert. In particular, the mysterious deep blue light of the broken glaciers in the polar maximizes that feeling. One ice plate and a crevice push out each other, creating a swaying stream. I tried to describe the moment in a pattern graphic when it eventually became a mysterious, empty blue desert. Through the artwork, I depicted the middle cracked glaciers of the pattern were cut out, the gaps were piled up again while showing the flow of the existing pattern, the glaciers were piled up on the cracks to form a different shape.



지구의 대부분을 차지하는 바다는 때론 거대하고 푸른 사막처럼 보이기도 한다. 특히, 극지방의 빙하의 갈라지고 부서진, 신비롭고 깊은 푸른 빛은 그 느낌을 극대화한다. 하나의 빙판과 갈라진 틈이 다른 판을 겹치고 밀어내며 하나의 요동치는 흐름을 만들어내는, 결국 신비로운 무(無)의 푸른 사막이 되는 순간을 패턴 그래픽에 담아냈다. 패턴 속 갈라진 빙하를 각각 잘라내고 틈 사이로 다시 겹치고 쌓아 올려 기존 패턴 속 흐름을 보여주면서도, 틈과 겹침으로 또 다른 형상을 만들어내는 조형물로 표현하였다.


海洋，在地球上占据了绝大部分，有时看起来像一片巨大的蓝色沙漠。尤其是极地冰川的断裂、破碎、神秘而深邃的蓝光增强了这种感觉。该作品通过图像图案记录了一个冰面和裂缝将另一个板块推动，重叠在一起，形成一个动荡的潮流，最终形成由‘无’到蓝色沙漠的瞬间。这作品将图案中裂开的冰川分别切开，重新叠加到缝隙中，表达出原来图案中的意识，并通过重叠做出另一种形象的造型物。?”
