The quadrilateral appearance of the building is a factor that has always attracted me. The repetition and listing of simple rectangles evokes a completely different impression from when only one standing alone. In contrast to a simple array of rectangles, lines are organically intertwined freely in the background of the work. Each Line composed of different colors looks like a gradient at first glance. I intended to descibe the images of buildings and cities that change from time to time through the design that overlaps the gradations and rectangular shapes of various units.



건축물의 네모진 생김새는 언제나 나의 흥미를 끄는 요소이다. 단순한 사각형의 반복과 나열은 사각형 하나가 주는 인상을 전혀 다른 모습으로 환기한다. 사각형들의 단순 나열과는 반대로 작품의 배경에는 자유로운 선들이 유기적으로 얽혀있다. 각각의 다른 색으로 이루어진 선들은 언뜻 그라데이션의 무리로 다가오기도 한다. 여러 유닛의 그라데이션과 사각형을 규칙적으로 중첩해서 시시각각으로 변하는 건물과 도시의 표정을 표현하고자 하였다.


建筑的四四方方的外观常常引起我的兴趣。单纯矩形的重复和排列，与单个矩形所给的印象完全不同。与矩形的简单排列相比，线条在作品的背景中有机地自由交织在一起。每条线由不同的颜色组成，看起来就像是层次上的变化。通过各单位层次和矩形重叠的设计来表达出时不时变化的建筑和城市的形象。
