Chinese Art Deco, 2021

In the early 20th century, art decoration became popular throughout Europe. Therefore, I envisioned a virtual Chinese and European pen pal in the 20th century. I imagined a scene where they exchanged cultures with each other through messages, and created this piece.



20세기 초에 아트데코가 유럽 전역에 유행했다. 이에 나는 20세기 가상의 중국인과 유럽인 펜팔 친구를 구상했다. 이들이 메시지를 통해 서로의 문화를 교류하는 장면을 상상했으며 이를 통해 본 작품을 만들게 됐다.


deco正在欧洲流行。我虚构了一对分别是中国人与欧洲人、生活在20世纪初的笔友，想象他们通过信件交流彼此的文化，并以此创作了作品。
