물고기의 꼬리, 2020

Even fish of the same species have different shapes of tail. The tails look like dancing as the fish are moving. I tried to capture and record the beautiful shape of that very moment. Observing various tail shapes,patterns were made in accordance with two sub-themes. One was taken by the shape of fish tails and transformed into the shapes of vegetable and fruit. The other was to combine the shape of the fish tail and Chinese calligraphy to imitate the image of freely moving fish in the water.



같은 종의 물고기라도 다양한 꼬리의 형태를 가지고 있다. 물고기는 이동할 때 마치 꼬리가 춤을 추고 있는 것 같다. 그 순간의 아름다운 형태를 잡고 기록하고자 했다. 다양한 꼬리의 형태를 연구하고, 2가지 소주제에 따라서 패턴을 만들었다. 하나는 물고기 꼬리의 형태를 잡고 채소와 과일의 모양으로 변형시켰다. 또 하나는 물고기의 꼬리의 형태와 중국의 서예를 같이 결합해서 물고기가 물속에서 자유롭게 움직이는 모습을 모방하였다.


即使是同一种鱼也有不同形状的尾鳍。当鱼在游泳时，尾鳍看起来在跳舞。我试图抓住那一瞬间美丽的形状并记录下来。观察不同的尾鳍形状，并根据两个小主题制作了图案。一种是抓住尾鳍的形状，把它变成蔬菜和水果的形状。另一种是尾鳍的形状与中国书法的结合，模仿鱼在水中自由活动的形象。
