All living things inevitably go through a journey from birth to death. This may last for just a few minutes, or it may be a long and hard journey. It is life that connects the two extreme points of birth and death. Each has a different form, but the beginning and the end as 'being' exists essentially real. Birth[blooming] and death[falling flowers], the two contrasting sides are perhaps the most identical concepts remaining if the 'life' part is taken out. I wanted to describe this idea through my artwork. Mixed media technique was used in which the pattern printed symbolizing 'vitality' and four tombstone figures representing 'death'.



모든 생명체는 필연적으로 탄생 후 죽음까지의 여정을 걷는다. 이는 단 몇 분간 지속될 수도, 길고 험한 과정일 수도 있다. 탄생과 죽음, 양극단의 두 점을 잇는 삶이란 형태는 각기 다르지만, '존재'로서의 시작과 끝은 본질적으로 실재한다. 탄생, 개화開花와 죽음, 낙화落花. 상충하는 양측은 어쩌면 '삶'을 제외하고 남는 가장 동일한 개념일 것이다. 이 내용을 하나의 작품으로 담고 싶었다. '생명력'을 상징화한 패턴을 출력하여 '죽음'을 형상화한 비석 모형에 결합한 믹스미디어 기법을 사용하였다.


所有的生命体必然要经历从诞生到死亡的过程。这过程可能是转瞬即逝的，亦可能是漫长而艰难的过程。虽然连接诞生和死亡这两个极端的人生形态各不相同，但作为‘存在’的开始和结束，在本质上是实存的。生与死，开花与落花，这看似相互冲突的双方或许却是除了‘人生’以外最相同的概念。整个作品采用了混合媒体的技术，将‘生命力’象征化的图案与将‘死亡’形象化的石碑模型进行结合，表达了我的想法。
