I
felt at the time through tapestry techniques in abstract way.
I wanted to record the beautiful natural scenery where I traveled and express it with the atmosphere that I felt at the time through tapestry techniques in abstract way.
The coolness, the freshness, the smell of grass in Mongolia; the colorful city night view of Shanghai, China, etc. I decided to proceed with the work to cherish and to remember everything I experienced, saw, and felt there. Also, to fit the concept, I designed a photo book with some photos and writings.
내가 살고 있는 이곳, 지구에서 보았던 아름다운 자연 경관, 여행지의 풍경을 기록하고, 타피스트리 기법을 통해 추상적으로 당시에 내가 느꼈던 감정과 분위기를 담아 형태감과 색감을 살려 표현하고자 했다.
몽골에서 느꼈던 시원함, 청량감, 풀 내음 그리고 중국 상하이의 잔잔하면서도 화려한 시내 야경 등등.. 내가 그곳에서 경험했던, 보았던, 그리고 느꼈던 모든 것들을 간직하고 추억하고자 작품을 진행하게 되었고 컨셉에 맞게 기록장(포토북)을 제작하였다.
