We were born for desires, 2021

Human desire is created by nature, and human nature expresses desire in various ways. Medusa, the source of my inspiration, is the "product" of desire. Appearance is uniquely derived from desire, and in a sense, it is close to fantasy and seems extreme. Modern art no longer pursues traditional popular art, but rather pursues art rich in individual tastes and colors. In this work, desire is expressed in a unique form through a deconstructive mindset, and it both concretely and abstractly expresses the extreme, various, wild, and fascinating beauty of the word desire. 


인간의 욕망은 본성에 의해 창조되는 것이고, 인간의 본성은 욕망을 다양한 방식으로 표현 시킨다. 나의 영감의 원천인 “메두사”는 욕망의 “산물”이다. 외모는 욕망에서 비롯된 이색적인 모습을 보이고 있으며, 어떠한 의미에서는 환상에 가까우며 극단적으로 보인다. 현대예술은 더 이상 전통적인 대중예술을 추구하지 않으며 개인의 취향과 색채가 풍부한 예술을 추구한다. 해체주의적인 사고방식을 통해 욕망을 나타내는 독특한 형식으로 표현하고, 욕망이라는 단어를 구체적 혹은 추상적으로 표현하여 극단적이고, 색다르고, 야생적이고, 매혹적인 아름다움을 표현한다.


人的欲望是本性所创造的，人性会使欲望产生的不同表现形式。正如我的灵感来源中的主角“美杜莎”，她是欲望的“产物”。外貌是欲望所致的另类形体，在某种意义上她是充满幻想的和极端的表现形态。在现代艺术中我们不再追求传统意义上普罗大众的艺术，而是富有个人色彩的艺术。运用解构主义的思维模式结合欲望本身所表现出独特的幻想形式，把欲望这个词用具象或抽象的形式表现出一种极端的美，是另类的野性的极致的充满诱惑的。
