The Hôpital-Général is a place in Paris that served as a kind of prison for the vagrants in the name of relief from the slums in the 17th century. Foucault regarded the bourgeois class as having established this building to separate from society those who do not conform to their faith. I found myself not matching with their codes and I often kept pusing myself out of the crowd by using wrong codes. Finally I hid myself into this dwelling place. Not accepting their codes, I rather reached this place from my will. Here,  madmen dance in the neglected nature.



Hôpital-Général은 17세기 파리에서 빈민구제를 명목으로 부랑자들을 가둬두는 일종의 수감소 역할을 한 장소이다. 푸코는 부르주아 계층이 자신들의 가치에 순응하지 않는 자들을 사회에서 분리시키기 위해 이 건물을 설립한 것으로 보았다. 나는 군중 속에서 그들의 코드를 인지하지 못하거나 잘못된 코드화로 나 자신을 계속해서 바깥으로 몰아냈다. 그리고 이 거처로 숨어들었다. 그들의 코드를 거부하였기 때문에 이곳은 사실 자의로 다다른 공간일지도 모른다. 이곳에서는 광인들이 경시된 자연과 함께 춤을 춘다.


Hôpital-Général是17世纪在巴黎以救济贫民的名义关押流氓的一种监狱。福柯认为资产阶级为了把不符合自己思想的人脱离社会而设立的监狱。我在群众当中没有认出他们的代码，或许认出的是错误的代码，从而把自己不断地推到外，并躲到这个居所。拒绝了他们的代码，来到这个空间，实际上可能是自愿的。在这里，与狂人轻视的大自然一起跳舞。
