From images of childhood to images of various colors and shapes in the sky, I have woven fabrics and expressed them in various ways.
These works are a collection of fabrics that have been carried out in the ‘TEXTILE DESIGN: WEAVE(1)’ class. From images of childhood to images of various colors and shapes in the sky, I have woven fabrics and expressed them in various ways. I bought a number of threads with simple and complex textures and woven fabrics, thinking about how these threads would fit together in harmony. The work in the middle is a fabric that depicts my childhood, and I tried to weave it with bright colors and mellow textures, reviving memories of the time when I was innocent and cute.
직조실기(1) 수업에서 진행했던 직물들을 모은 작품이다. 어린시절의 모습을 담은 이미지부터 하늘의 다채로운 색감과 형태를 담은 이미지까지 직물을 짜며 다양하게 표현해보았다. 단순한 질감과 복잡한 질감의 실들을 여러개 구매하여 이 실들이 어떻게 조화롭게 어울릴지를 고민하며 직물을 짰다. 그중 가운데 있는 작품은 내 어린시절 모습을 담은 직물인데, 천진난만하고 나름 귀여웠던 그 때의 기억을 되살리며 밝은 색감과 몽글한 질감을 살려서 직물을 짜보았다.
