Thread has meanings of 'thread, sew and stitch'.
Simultaneously, it means 'a series of
stories about a subject when used via Internet. With the theme of ‘To Collage
Myself’, I fragmented my life and described it in the form of torn pieces of
paper. Sculptures with various silhouettes are freely harmonized with tapes and
threads, and threads cross over among the works. The word 'collage' is divided
into 'coll' and 'age' in the work. 'coll' means collect, and 'age' means age or
era.
스레드(thread)는 ‘실, 꿰다, 깁다’의 의미이며, 넷상 용어로는 ‘하나의 주제에 대해 일련의 이야기를 줄줄이 꿰놓은 것’을 뜻한다. ‘나를 콜라주하다’를 주제로, 내 삶의 부분을 파편화하여 찢어진 종잇조각 형태로 표현했다. 다양한 실루엣을 가진 조각들이 테이프, 실과 자유롭게 어우러져 있고 작품 간 실이 연결되어 지나가기도 한다. collage(콜라주)라는 단어는 작품 속 coll, age로 나뉘어 담겨 있다. coll은 collect(모으다)의 의미가, age는 나이, 시대의 의미를 가진다.
Thread拥有‘线、穿、缝’的意思。但在网络中则有‘关于某一主题的一些列故事’的意思。以‘拼贴自我’的主题，将自己生活的一部分进行碎片化，以撕裂的纸张的形态表现出来。拥有多种形态的雕塑用胶带和线自由协调，线在作品冲交叉而过。‘collage’一词分别以coll、age的形式融入在作品中。coll具有collect（收集）的意思，age具有（年龄、时代）的意思。
