That play more focused on acting rather than stage setting.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, written by William Shakespeare, has been highly praised for being the masterpiece of him. Inspiring imagination of between hot summertime and mysteriously silent night, the text has existed as all art forms, including literature, film and theatre. I saw it first in the theatre. That play more focused on acting rather than stage setting. It came as an unfinished work i wanted to continue, so I have represented this play using a fabric felting.
셰익스피어의 <한여름 밤의 꿈>은 수 백년 동안 사랑받아온 명작이다. 여름의 싱그러움과 뜨거움, 고요한 밤의 어둡고 비밀스러운 이미지가 만나 다양한 상상력을 불러일으키는 이 작품은 다양한 예술의 형태로 존재해 왔다. 처음 접한 <한여름 밤의 꿈>의 모습은 연극이었다. 무대 연출보다는 연기에 좀 더 집중한 모습이었고, 때문인지 이 작품은 ‘미완의 무대, 더 만들어보고 싶은 공간’으로 다가왔다. 이에 펠트 섬유를 이용해 작업을 진행해보았다.
