"Hat" means more than just an item, it distinguishes identity, season, and situation.
Hat,
one of the things you wear on your head. An object intended for courtesy or to
prevent cold, heat, dust, etc; For ancestors of the past, the Josun Dynasty,
hats had more meaning what it has nowadays. Wearing a hat was one of the
important aspects of clothing life, as it was included in wearing a formal
attire. "Hat" means more than just an item, it distinguishes identity, season, and situation. Through the hat, ‘On’ re-establishs the ethnicity as a white nation, and combines new meanings to convey the message. On’s first hat ‘Heuklip’ is a hat that is reinterpreted with a On’s modern style.
모자, 머리에 쓰는 물건의 하나, 예의를 차리거나 추위, 더위, 먼지 따위를 막기 위한 용도의 물품. 모자의 사전적 정의이나, 예를 중시했던 과거의 조상들, 백의 민족들에게 모자는 그 이상의 의미를 지닌다. 모자를 쓰는 것은 의관을 갖춰 입는 것 중에도 포함 되었던 일로 의복생활에 있어 중요했던 부분 중 하나이다.
‘모자'는 단순한 장신구를 넘어 신분을 구분하고, 계절을 구분하고, 또 상황을 구분해 주는 의미가 담겨있다. 온은 모자를 통해 백의 민족으로서의 민족성을 재확립하고, 새로운 의미를 결합하여 메시지를 전달한다. 그 중에서고 온의 첫번째 모자 흑립은 전통 모자인 흑립을 재해석하여 온만의 현대적인 디자인으로 풀어낸 작품이다.
