Nostalgia is like a 'souvenir' we get as time goes over.
We feel Nostalgia by reminding of the past. Past memories sometimes remain in us with distorted or twisted forms. Precious, beautiful but sad memories are filled with our minds like a pile of old souvenirs. In that sense, it's lucky to have something to look back. In my work, clothes appear to be somewhat distorted and uncomfortable, as if our memories (beautiful/distorted/not true) do.



노스탤지어는 시간의 흐름에 따라 갖게 되는 ‘기념품’ 같은 것이다. 우리는 회상을 통해 과거를 여행하며 노스탤지어를 얻는다. 과거의 기억은 때로는 왜곡되고 뒤틀린 형태로 우리에게 남겨진다. 소중하고 아름답지만 슬픈 기억들은 오래된 기념품처럼 쌓여 마음을 가득 채운다. 그런 의미에서 어떤 것을 그리워할 수 있다는 건 행운이다. 작업에서 옷은 마치 우리의 기억(아름다운 것/왜곡된 것/사실이 아닐 수도 있는 것)처럼 어딘가 왜곡되고 불편한 형태로 다가온다.


随着时间的流逝，怀旧就像我们得到的“纪念品”。我们通过回忆过去来感到怀旧。过去的记忆有时会以扭曲的形式留在我们心中。珍贵的、美丽的、悲伤的回忆，像古老的纪念品一样堆积在一起，填满我们的心。从这个意义上说，能够怀念过去是很幸运的。在作品中，衣服以一种扭曲不适的形式出现，仿佛是我们的美丽、扭曲且不真实的记忆 。
