대부분의 사람들은 20, 30대에 죽는다. 그 이유는 대부분 이 나이대를 지나면 사람들은 마치 자기 자신의 그림자처럼 살아가며 앞으로의 여생은 자신을 흉내 내며 살아간다. 하루하루 더 기계적이고 더 거드름 피우며 이전의 행동들, 생각들 그리고 사랑하는 것을 반복하게 된다.
