Floating / 漂浮, 2021

With the development of internet technology, people's knowledge is getting wider and wider, and a phenomenon called "internal authority," meaning that efficiency decreases due to competition for limited resources. Now that this "internal power" phenomenon is getting worse, should we join this trend as a new generation? Or should I show a "half-internal" aspect? This is a problem that we often think about ourselves today. Whether to "progress" together with the public or lead a peaceful life in one's own small world, the issue seems to be an exclusive choice, but in fact, the two options can coexist. As if floating, when describing a bubble, it means flowing on the surface, but the bubble itself already means a closed state. Why aren't we trying to find our own uniqueness in this closed state? I emphasized the concept by making contrast points with other fabrics through weaving and sewing. 


인터넷 기술의 발전에 따라 사람들의 식견이 점점 더 넓어지면서 한정된 자원을 놓고 경쟁을 하여 효율성이 떨어진다는 의미의 “내권(內卷)”이라는 현상이 나타나고 있다. 이러한 “내권”현상이 점점 심해지는 지금, 새로운 세대로서 이러한 흐름에 동참해야 하는가? 아니면 “반내권”적인 모습을 보여야 하는가? 이것은 오늘날 우리가 스스로 자주 생각하는 문제다. 대중을 따라 함께 “진보”해 나갈 것인지, 아니면 자신만의 작은 세상에서 평온한 생활을 해 나갈 것인지, 이 문제는 선택적으로 보이지만 사실 두 선택지가 공존할 수 있다.  마치 Floating이 거품을 형용할 때 표면 위에서 흘러간다라는 의미가 있지만, 거품 그 자체는 이미 폐쇄적인 상태를 의미한다. 우리는 왜 이 폐쇄된 상태에서 자신만의 독특한 점을 찾으려 하지 않는 것일까? 나는 짜고 꿰매는 방식을 통해 다른 원단과 대비 점을 만들며 컨셉트를 강조시켰다.


随着网络的发展，人们的眼界也越来越宽，见识多了，逐渐出现了一种现象，叫做“内卷”。现如今“内卷”的现象越来越严重，作为新生代的我们，面对这种现象是随波逐流呢？还是“反内卷”呢？这是现如今大家常常自我思考的问题之一。跟随大众一起得到“进步”呢还是在自己的小世界里安稳生活呢，问题虽是选择性的但也拥有共存性。就像我的名字Floating形容泡泡的时候拥有向上流动的意思，但是泡泡本身也是一种封闭的状态。就好比上述现象，我们为什么不在尝试在这封闭状态里寻找属于自己独特的一点呢。我运用了编织和衍缝的手法与其他面料来产生对比，凸显主题!
