WHAT'S YOUTH?, 2020

Youth is 'Spirit'. The mind can survive without a body. This spirit is fully reflected by the “street culture” born from the free art form. The abstract outline enriches the imagination, and the bright contrast of colors emphasizes the theme. The graffiti style is used to describe the core of 'youth' in street culture and to reproduce the street scene. There are people dancing on the street and taking pictures on skateboards. How many more scenes will be after watching a few scenes, will there be more scenes in the future? Are the people with healthy bodies really in youth? My work raises a question. "What is youth?"



젊음은 ‘정신’이다. 정신은 육체가 없어도 살아남을 수 있다. 이러한 정신은 자유로운 예술 형태에서 탄생한 ‘거리 문화’에 충분히 반영되어 있다. 대략적인 윤곽은 상상력을 더 풍부하게 하고, 밝은색의 대비는 주제를 강조한다. 그래피티 스타일을 활용해 거리문화 속 '청춘'의 핵심을 보여주고, 거리 의 풍경을 재현한다. 길거리에서 춤을 추고 스케이트 보드를 타고 사진을 찍는 사람들이 있다. 몇 장면을 보고 나면 앞으로 더 많은 장면이 나올까. 건강한 신체를 지닌 청춘은 과연 젊은 사람들일까? 내 작품은 묻는다. "젊음은 무엇인가?


年轻就是“精神”。精神可以没有肉体而活。这种精神充分反映在自由艺术形态下诞生的“街头文化”。抽象的轮廓让想象力更加丰富，鲜明的色彩对比突出了主题。利用涂鸦风格来描述街头文化中“青春”的核心，再现街头风景。有很多人在街上跳舞，在滑板上拍照。如果看完这几个场面，紧接着会联想到更多的场面吗？拥有健康身体的青春才是年轻人吗？我的作品提出一个问题。“年轻到底是什么?”
